The issue price sits one cent below the stock's previous TSX Venture close of C$0.62, the new shares represent 4.9% of the enlarged capital base, and the release discloses no warrants.
Management plans to apply the proceeds toward general corporate runway as it advances its exploration portfolio across three offshore Atlantic basins: the 100%-owned Orinduik Block in Guyana, three Walvis Basin licences in Namibia (where a farm-down to BP p.l.c., the British energy major, received ministerial approval on October 2), and Blocks 3B/4B and 1 CBK in South Africa's Orange Basin. The cash injection also supports the pending acquisition of JHI.
Next primary catalysts include obtaining formal TSX Venture Exchange listing approval, achieving admission of the new shares to trading on AIM (expected on or around October 19, 2026), finalizing the JHI acquisition, and completing the BP farm-down in Namibia.
Shares of EOG rose 22.6% to C$0.76 on volume of roughly 109,000 shares on the TSX Venture Exchange.
